(#65) NFL/CFB Weekly Reactions: Buying Jauan Jennings, Omarion Hampton's explosion, & more Future NFL Risers

On today's episode of FFR, I walk through my biggest reactions to the NFL and College games this past weekend. NFL notes go position-by-position before heading into CFB to discuss future risers

Week 12 Riser Quick Hits

As mentioned on the previous week’s show and write-up, I’m dialing it back a bit during November/December, as we’ll have quite a bit to do after the season with the Draft being a main focus. This seems to affect the Tuesday shows more than the Thursday shows. There is still a very solid podcast episode above detailing my reactions to this week of college football. A few longer segments and write-ups will be with the Thursday Show.

2025 Riser of the Week – Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

Hampton has been a steady riser on this list for the last several weeks now. While I do have some concerns about certain nitpicks with Hampton’s game, the fact is that Hampton scores very highly in most of the things that translate the most to the NFL. Hampton has good size to take a fantasy-friendly volume, has explosive playmaking speed, and has 60 receptions over his last 23 games with over 500 receiving yards.

2025 Comeback? – Carson Beck, QB, Georgia

Part of the hesitancy to lower Beck down the rankings too quickly was the opportunities he would have to end this season against teams like Ole Miss, Tennessee, and opportunities in the postseason. Beck failed his opportunity against Ole Miss, but has perhaps started to change his fortunes against Tennessee. While Tennessee has a strong DL on paper, the Vols failed to create any kind of pass rush, which is significant as Beck has struggled significantly under pressure. Moving forward, I’ll be tracking how often Beck is pressured and how he plays under pressure in order to try and decide how I believe this translates at the next level.

Future Risers

Cam Coleman, WR, Auburn (2027)

Perhaps the highest upside WR in the 2027 class outside of Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams, Cam Coleman was excellent against UL Monroe this past weekend with 8 Receptions, over 100 Receiving yards, and 3 TDs. It is a lower-division team in ULM, but as a freshman, we only want to see flashes of brilliance. More is obviously great as well– we would take 5 more Smith/Williams– but all we really want are for these players to set themselves up for the big seasons in year two. Coleman is doing that well.

Duce Robinson, WR, USC (2026)

The third USC WR to feature in this list from the 2026 class alone, the combination of Lemon, Branch, and Robinson has a lot of potential to add to the first two rounds of the 2026 Draft. Robinson seems by my eye to have the most physical upside, and as a baseball player, you hope there’s some room for upside if he begins to specialize more as a WR. Robinson lead the team with 4 Receptions, 90 Yards, and 1 TD this past weekend.

Emmett Mosely V, WR, Stanford (2027)

In early stages, the star ratings matter as it is hard to know too much else. Emmett Mosely is only a 3-Star recruit, but he had maybe the biggest game of this list on Saturday. Not only did Mosely have a massive game (13 / 168 / 3), but he did so in a surprise upset and 3-point win against Louisville. If Mosely keeps up these performances, particularly at Stanford, he will be a name to watch.

Future Notes

Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame (2026) ; Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State (2026) ; D.J. Lagway, QB, Florida (2027)

Love was electric this past weekend, and had a career high 16 carries. He remains at the top of my 2026 RB list. Tate may be the WR3 on his team, but he also may be the WR1 in the 2026 class. Finally, D.J. Lagway’s ability to create higher difficulty or “Big Time” throws is absurd.
