Sorry for the late reply. The main idea would be just not knowing how his pass catching would translate in the grand scheme of the class. In the most important sense, he's gaining credibility and separating himself from lower tiers. There are likely to be a few players who fall out of that range and I don't think Johnson will be one of them at this point, and he's declared already. Ultimately, as a one year producer, when he goes cold in an area like pass catching, it can be difficult. Yes that is likely a result of the offensive situation around him, but that still doesn't mean we can give him credit for doing it at a high level. He did have a good pass-catching game last week. Because he is among the first to declare, Thursday's show will likely have a Kaleb Johnson deeper dive.
